Brown’s £3 Billion “Pay Freeze” Is Half of £6 Billion UK Foreign Aid Health Budget

The £3 billion civil servant “pay freeze” announced by Gordon Brown is exactly half of the foreign aid budget’s £6 billion spend on “improving health systems across the world’s poorest countries.”

Mr Brown made the pay freeze announcement as part of the Government’s attempts to cut the ballooning deficit — but, in common with the Tories, the Labour regime has promised to increase the foreign aid spend if re-elected.

Earlier, Labour’s chief secretary to the Treasury, Liam Byrne, proposed domestic spending cuts of £11 billion in the budget due in two week’s time.

Mr Byrne said it would be the “toughest spending review for 20 years” and will include a 20 percent cut in the civil service, halving the cost of consultants, reductions in marketing budgets and sales of assets.

The plans also include “encouraging” the National Health Service to make “efficiency savings worth £10 billion.” This will apparently be achieved by cutting technology systems and merging primary care trusts in big cities.

The “cuts” in the NHS spend contrast strongly with an announcement on the Department for International Development’s (DFID) website that the “UK has already committed £6 billion to improve health systems across the world’s poorest countries and £1 billion to the Global Fund to tackle HIV, as well as TB and Malaria.”

One of the latest projects to be funded by the British taxpayer is a £1 million cash grant to the South African government to buy a billion condoms.

The South African government has just finished buying Gripen fighter jets, frigates and submarines for billions of pounds.

Why British taxpayers should be buying South Africa a billion condoms when that nation can afford to purchase fighter jets and submarines, is not discussed in the DFID press release.

The Conservative Party has called for the foreign aid budget to be “ring fenced” and increased by over 50 percent to around £13 billion per year.

After the Tories made that pledge, the Labour government also announced that they would match that commitment — which means that the forthcoming foreign aid budget will be larger than the domestic budget cuts at home.

Only the British National Party has called for the ending of the foreign aid budget while there is need and poverty inside Britain.

It is time that the interests of the British people were put first.

We are not saying that climate change is non-existent, climate change is very real but this is something that has been happening way before man was even able to document history.

The issue of climate change had been hijacked, taken out of context and used as a consumer puller.

There is so much money to made out of this that it is almost impossible to comprehend. Green issues used for Global Power grab (EU), Taxes to compensate Government waste, fraud and corruption, new businesses created from green issues, personal carbon limits and penalties even higher council taxes for simply going green. It's all about power and Money!

The earth is becoming vastly overpopulated, intensive farming exists to compensate food shortages worldwide which carry large carbon footprints within, Air travel are the biggest culprits for carbon and yet they build more airports, extra runways and encourage more of the same. They then increase fares and introduce more stealth taxes! Insane? No! It's all about money for the global elites!

If they were serious about climate change, changes would begin with those who preach the Global warming Gospel but they don't. They would change development rules and build safeguards against flooding but No! they penalise people with taxes and guilt and then tell you this is happening as a result of your own fault.

Even if we hit a zero carbon target this will not stop climate change as this inevitable, a natural process that has been happening since year dot. As nature is more powerful than man who on earth do the think they are kidding by claiming they can control this? At best we can slow this down but not enough to make any difference whatsoever and that is fact..

Let's not forget when they tell us to be tolerant of Immigrants and accuse native Brits on benefits as being scroungers and refuse to publish just how many immigrants are on benefits themselves!

Let's not forget the Lies Labour spouts that Immigrants come here to do the Jobs that the British don't want to do!

And let's not forget the expenses scandal where the rules were invented to avoid prosecution and the greedy pigs used this to it's upmost capacity for luxury goods, make profits and live a life of luxury where the rest of us struggle to make ends meet but still have to subsidise these freaks allowing them to claim from Porno movies to cleaning their moats!

Let's not forget 2009 as we approach the 2010 Elections!
